May the Forest Be with You

I’ll admit it. I love science fiction & I am a big fan of Star Wars. No apology is needed really, but some days my nerd-like tendencies show more than others.

Case in point, the June theme at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge is to make a masculine card and I couldn’t stop myself. I immediately knew I wanted to use this Star Wars pun sentiment from a retired stamp set from Ellen Hutson.

Combined with fun forest theme paper from Brass & Bliss Craft Co., the Jedi like phrase seemed like a great match.

The great outdoors with the Star Wars vibe seems manly to me.

You have a chance to win an amazing $50 gift certificate from Brass & Bliss if you link a caffeinated Christmas card with a masculine theme for this challenge. Check out the link up and rules over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge blog.

Here’s a peek at some of the fun papers from Wintery Woodlands.

I chose a cool tree theme paper from this pad for the background and cut outdoorsy elements including the camping coffee set in coordinating papers & card-stock with Brass & Bliss Camping Items and Wildlife dies to assemble my card.

I added the Christmas sentiment from Papertrey Ink, tree stump dies from My Favorite Things, and white heat embossed trees from an old retired rubber stamp from Stampin’ Up to make sure my card has the essential holiday spirit.

Hope this inspires you to make something fun for the challenge.

Are you a Star Wars fan, too? I highly recommend the animated show “The Bad Batch” – all episodes are available to stream on Disney +.

The series follows the Clone Wars animated series, but it can stand alone without seeing others and is one of my favorites. Great animation and character development following the adventures of Clone Force 99.

May the force be with you always!
