First up, here’s the sketch I used:
My card features a couple dies from My Favorite Things, a small button die from Blueprints 6 and Happy from LLD Accent It. It was fun to find a variety of festive papers to go with sketch and coordinate with the signature green colors featured for St. Patrick’s Day.
I am also happy to link this card with the Inspiration Challenge over at Curtain Call. I was feeling lucky today to find another challenge site, although my inspiration comes mainly from a well used piece of patterned shamrock paper I found in my stash. I have gotten a lot of use out of this single sheet of shamrock paper I picked up at a local craft store a few years ago. I’ve hand cut a shamrock out of that same sheet for repeated use on this under served card occasion. Am I the only one that finds a lucky piece of paper like that in my stash?
Stay tuned for some more festive cards over the next few weeks. March is the month to feature my favorite Paper Crafting Canine, Deuce! Deuce celebrates his 6th birthday on March 19, so get ready to celebrate. He’s already working on lots of his own projects in the Craftatorium.
Happy crafting, everyone!
